Original language description
In this article, the importance of Chemistry in the Science- Religion dialogue will be discussed. Chemistry is the link between physics and biology in the evolution of the universe. Its function as “bonding mechanism” may be analogically used to describe the “bonding process” between individuals, in societies, and to God. This bonding may also be called Love. The paper will begin with some general comments about the relationship between science and religion before concentrating on the significance of chemistry. Emergence steps during evolution of the universe, as described by Morowitz, will be shown as progressive kinds of chemistry. Suggestions from a Czech scholar on virtues that can advance the process of human bonding are presented.
