Diatom flora of the springs of a part of west Carpathians
Original language description
Spring ecosystems are the most threatened ones in the whole Central Europe. The siprings under study differed both in their chemistry and the composition of diatom flora. So far, 150 diatom taxa have been found in the springs of West Carpathians. The results of multivariate analyses of diatom assemblages reflect classification of springs based on phytosociological approach.
