NICKEL(II)DITHIOCARBAMATESWITH POLYDENTATE P-LIGANDSIN THE COORDINATION SPHERE
Original language description
The diamagnetic nickel(II) dithiocarbamates with tridentate P,P,P-ligands of composition [Ni(bziprdtc)(triphosI)]X (bziprdtc = benzylisopropyldithiocarbamate, triphosI= C34H33P3 = bis(2-diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine,X = Cl-, PF6-,BPh4-, ClO4-; Ph = phenyl), [Ni(tzdtc)(triphosI)]X (tzdtc = thiazolidinedithiocarbamate, X = Cl-, PF6-), [Ni(hmidtc)(triphosI)]X (hmidtc = hexamethyleneiminedithiocarbamate, Cl-, PF6-) and [Ni(hmidtc)(triphosII)]X (triphosII = C41H39P3 = 1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethan, X = Cl-, PF6-) have been isolated. The compounds were studied by thermal analysis, IR and UV-VIS spectroscopy, magnetochemical and conductivity measurements. All compounds are diamagnetic, 1 : 1 electrolytes, with coordination number five ofnickel in the NiS2P3 chromophore.
