Original language name
The role of active oxygen species in resistance of Lactuca spp. to Bremia lactucae.
Original language description
Broad variation in Lactuca spp. (L. sativa, L. serriola, L. saligna and L. virosa) reaction to Bremia lactucae attack has been described at cellular and tissue level (interference with pathogen growth, HR, cytoskeleton, phenolic compounds). Recent research focused at: 1) histochemical localization of peroxidase, hydrogen peroxide and superoxide; 2) biochemical study of AOS-scavenging enzymes dynamics (peroxidases, superoxiddismutase, catalase).
Czech name
Role aktivních forem kyslíku v rezistenci Lactuca spp. k Bremia lactucae
Czech description
Reakce Lactuca spp. (L. sativa, L. serriola, L. saligna a L. virosa) k Bremia lactucae na buněčné a pletivné úrovni jsou charakterizovány širokou variabilitou (interference s vývojem patogenu, HR, změny uspořádání cytoskeletu, depozice fenolických látek). SOučasný výzkum byl zaměřen na: 1) histochemickou lokalizaci peroxidas, peroxide vodíku a superoxidu; 2) biochemické studium časové dynamiky antioxidačních enzymů (peroxidas, superoxid dismutasy, katalasy).
