Atlas production is a joint work of cartographers and designers. When processing atlas production as a geoinformatic project, the team of collaborators extends by experts on GIS, remote sensing, geostatistics, spatial databases, analysts etc. Further, when digital atlas production is designed as a web interactive application, the team extends by programators and web specialists. The paper brings concept of project for student team work integrating various geographic, cartographic and geoinformatics activities within web atlas production. The projects are based on geoinformatic project (within ESRI technology). The projects cover three main spatial levels - national level, regional level and local level.

Czech description
Atlasová tvorba je společným dílem kartografů, geografů a grafiků. Pokud je atlas zpracováván jako geoinformační projekt, je tým spolupracovníků rozšířen o odborníky na GIS, dálkový průzkum Země, geostatistiku, prostorové databáze, prostorové analýzy atd. Dále také platí, že pokud je atlas navržen jako webová interaktivní aplikace, je do týmu přizván i programátor a specialista na web. Týmová spolupráce je klíčovým aspektem tvorby webových atlasů, nazývané Web Atlas Engineering. Příspěvek přináší koncept projektů pro studentské práce integrující různé geografické, kartografické a geoinformatické činnosti při tvorbě webového atlasu. Projekty pokrývají tři základní úrovně - národní, regionální a lokální.
