In the paper the attention is paid to the using of the sophisticated mathematical software MAPLE for the effective solving of algebraic problems without struggling with the computations. The mathematical concepts of abstract algebra may indeed be considered abstract, but its utility is quite concrete and continues to grow in importance. The software can make fields depend on algebra more interesting and more accessible.

Článek je zaměřen na užití sofistikovaného matematického softwaru MAPLE pro efektivní řešení algebraických problémů bez namáhavého počítání. Algebraické pojmy bývají často velmi abstraktní a jejich význam je často zřejmý až z konkrétních aplikací. Zajímavé ukázky takových aplikací nám umožňuje právě tento software.
