AFM Monitoring of Size Changes during Thermal Syntheses of Ferric Oxide Nanoparticles
Original language description
Thermal decomposition represents a simple and low-cost method of synthesis of nanoparticles. We have employed atomic force microscopy (AFM) to study the decomposition of Prussian Blue to amorphous ferric oxide. We have monitored the influence of the precursor particle size on the particle size of resultant Fe2O3 and we discuss the applicability of AFM and their agreement with other methods.
