EMPIRICAL STUDY ON ELECTRIC CURRENTS AND CONDUCTIVITIES DURING THE ON-LINE ELECTROKINETIC PRECONCENTRATION ON THE pH BOUNDARY IN CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS
Original language description
A contribution to the study of mechanism during the on-line electrokinetic accumulation / mobilization preconcentration in capillary electrophoresis by using model systems and contactless conductivity detection is described in this paper. The formation of a low conductive zone during the electrokinetic accumulation was clearly demonstrated by contactless conductivity detection and careful monitoring of the electric current profiles. Moreover, the migration of the SDS zone during the mobilization was also evidenced by the contactless conductivity detection.
