Trace fossils associations and Ichnofacies from the Viséan depositional sequences of Drahany Culm basin and their importance for lithofacial models of the Myslejovice Formation (Lower Carboniferous, Moravosilesian Unit of the Bohemian Massif)
Original language description
The objective of this study is paleoichnological investigation of sites with rich assotiations of trace-fossils in the Southeastern part of Myslejovice Formation in the Drahany Upland basin. Drahany Culm basin is built mosttly by products of deep marinefills: polymictic conglomerates, fine-grained greywackes, siltstones and claystones, which are the main components of Protivanov, Rozstání and myslejovice Formation. The Myslejovice Fromation is divided into Studnice Shale, Brodek Greywacke, Luleč and Račice Members. So far was determined 669 specimens from Veleslav Lang collection, which are represented by following genuses: Cosmorhaphe, Diplocraterion, Dictyodora, Gordia, "Granularia", Chondrites, Phycosiphon, Nereites, Planolites and Rhizocorallium. The association of trace fossil can be generally compared with the association in the Moravice Formation and Hradec-kyjovice Formation of the Nízký Jeseník Mts..
