Ferromagnetic coupling mediated by Co center dot center dot center dot pi non-covalent contacts in a pentacoordinate Co (II) compound showing field-induced slow relaxation of magnetization
Original language description
[Co-II(dpt)(NCS)(2)], where dpt = bis(3-aminopropyl)amine, was identified as a pentacoordinate Co-II compound showing field-induced slow relaxation of magnetization. Furthermore, intermolecular ferromagnetic coupling mediated by Co center dot center dot center dot pi non-covalent contacts, where pi orbitals originate from the thiocyanato ligand, is reported for the first time.
