Fixed point index for spheric mappings
Original language description
The fixed point index is newly generalized for a large class of spheric multivalued mappings on compact, connected Euclidean neighbourhood retracts. Sufficient conditions are then formulated for the existence of essential fixed points in terms of a nontrivial fixed point index and the Lefschetz number, provided the topological dimension of the set of fixed points is zero. A special case of one our deterministic result is finally randomized.
