  • Original language description

Sinelater perroti was described based on specimens from Tam Dao, Vietnam (Fleutiaux 1940), but has since been only rarely reported from the country (Ohira and Aramaki 1999). Jiang (1990) firstly recorded S. perroti from Sichuan, China. Later, records of this species were published from southern China (Cate 2007; Jiang 1993a, b, 1995a, b, 1998, 2002; Jiang and Ding 1997; Jiang and Wang 1999a, b; Sun et al. 2011; Wang 1992, 1993). Recently, Kubaczkova and Kundrata (2017) reported S. perroti from Bhutan, far from the previously published localities. Here we add new records of this species from several Chinese provinces and for the first time from Yunnan, Tibet, Laos, and Myanmar. This makes the distribution of S. perroti more continuous. Additionally, color habitus images of the type specimens of this species are shown for the first time.
