Morphological characterization and host range of tomato powdery mildew (Oidium lycopersici) originating from the Czech Republic.
Original language description
Host range study of O. lycopersici detected some Solanum species as a highly susceptible, while most of other Solanaceae expressed resistant or moderately susceptible response. The successive transfer of O. lycopersici to some Cucurbitaceous species (Cucumis sativus, C. melo, Cucurbita spp.) was recorded, however morphological studies revealed that O. lycopersici is clearly separated from cucumber powdery mildews (Sphaerotheca fusca and Erysiphe orontii).
