    Paper describe evaluation of the activity of soil enzymes in the nitrogen cycle (protease, urease, nitrate reductase) during crop rotation on the chernozem soil type. The evaluation was done in variants with winter wheat and spring barley planted after different crops. The correlations between soil characteristics and enzyme activities are described.
