Original language description
The aim of this chapter is to present Vocational Education and Training in the Czech Republic. There are the schools providing VET at secondary and tertiary levels according to the level of education and the nature of the education provided. The articledeals with Further education, Continuing vocational education and training, Retraining programmes and Teaching qualification. It informs about current international partnerships and national projects organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports together with the National Institute of Technical and Vocational Education. Finally, the article summarizes the main strengths of VET in the Czech Republic.
