The issue of multicultural education and intercultural education is currently one of the sensitive issues not only in the Czech Republic. The implementation of multicultural education in terms of primary school was established in response to the existence of a multicultural society. Multicultural education should operate as a means to solve problems arising from the cultural diversity in the educational reality. Because it is a new topic in Czech conditions is still inconsistency in both theory and practice. The aim of this paper is to present design strategies for teaching multicultural education applicable to the primary school and the possibility of monitoring the educational research.
