In spite of support and a series of measures concerning the integration and inclusion of people with special needs they are still many people who, due to their specific needs, are socially excluded and suffer a lack of opportunities to participate fullyin the life of the majority society. Number of persons with special needs is almost 10 % of the population of the European Union. It is clear that even a group of university students will contain a significant minority of students, for which is needed torespect their specific needs. The question is whether this really happens and whether universities offer students with special needs suitably adapted forms of education. One of the modern forms of education is definitely an e-learning, which is more andmore integrating into ordinary school life. It looks important that even this form of education has to reflect a group of students with special needs. Presented article is analysing the field of educational tools used in e-learning from
