At present, the use of information and communication technologies in education at all types of schools is becoming commonplace. Information and communication technologies bring many positive effects which appropriately complement and support the processof education. Some modern forms of study, applied at Czech as well as foreign universities, are even based on the use of information and communication technologies. Above all, this regards education realized through e-learning with information, curriculum, control incentives and communication being transmitted by means of modern communication technologies and using the World Wide Web, called simply the Internet. The study presents the attitudes of university students towards e-learning, as one of the up-to-date forms of education, within the framework of their undergraduate studies. It also illustrates the course of the research investigation, carried out from the year 2007 to 2011, and submits some of the outputs. The main objective of
