The article presents the results of an empirical research concerning the way in which students of the Faculty of Education perceive electronic study materials. The objective of the research was to find out whether students had encountered electronic study materials and whether they were satisfied with them. The research also examined whether students preferred studying with conventional study materials or with electronic study support, and whether this preference differed across study fields. It also assessed whether students of Mathematics and other technical fields preferred electronic study materials to other forms. The research was conducted by means of a questionnaire. Cluster data analysis was used to evaluate the results
