Hearing impairment is reflected as a barrier in terms of psychological development, and in relation to language skills and related difficulties, certain deviations can be expected in values understanding and, subsequently, in establishing a value priority. prioritization. The study presented describes the value priorities in the group of hearing impaired adolescents from Poland and the Czech Republic in comparison to hearing peers. The authors used Schwartz Portrait Values Questionnaire as a research tool. The results showed that hearing status impacts the conformity, tradition as well as achievement priorities, however other value priorities were more influenced by the impact of gender and country of living
