This paper is part of a student project titled Diagnostics competence of nursery school teachers as the means of postponement of compulsory school attendance intervention. In this paper, the authors focus on particular aspects of the project, in which they are dealing with the reflection of curricular documents in nursery schools in the Olomouc region. The main aim of the reflection is to determine to what extent the educational content is processed so that it is not only the basis for systematic work with children of preschool age, but that it is also able to form a suitable basis for pedagogy diagnostics.
