The number of students with disabilities in the Czech Republic has increased recently. There is not only the process of integration, but also segregation. This paper focuses on teachers' attitudes to the process of integration of pupils with visual impairment. Methods: Quantitative research methods for were used data collection. The data were collected through questionnaires. The questionnaires were aimed at teachers in mainstream schools in the Olomouc region. In the Czech Republic, the Olomouc regionis one of the best in integrating pupils with disabilities. Results: According to the results of the research it is possible to evaluate the current state of integration. The comparison of teachers' attitudes brought interesting findings. A part of the teachers think that successful integration of individuals with sensory impairment depends on the extent of disability. But up to 50 % of teachers' attitudes show that they are not prepared for integration of pupils with visual impairment.
