This paper deals with the development of cognitive processes and thinking of preschool children via the most natural activity of the child - the game. In an effort to improve the quality of the educational process, the authors emphasize the importance ofconstruction games and activities as an integral part of the educational process in kindergarten. The issue is studied in the context of the technical education, bearing in mind all its specifics, and current educational trends in this particular area.The goal of this paper is to show - as a result of deep analysis of the current possibilities - the important role of a teacher for child's progress in the free and/or instructed game activity.
