Original language description
Quality of life research is a phenomenon of humanities-oriented research. Quality of life is explored in a variety of consequences, from different perspectives, with emphasis on different aspects and determinants. In general, the emphasis is placed on the subjective perception of quality of life. In this paper we focus on the social dimension of quality of life. One determinant is the attitude of the majority towards people with visual impairment. The paper is focused on identifying opinions and attitudes of the majority population towards persons with visual impairment and their quality of life. The whole concept of quality of life will be complemented by the overall attitude of the majority population, which contributes to the quality of life of individuals
