The paper focuses on the issue of the project Promotion of cooperation and sharing of experience in early childhood education - NF-CZ07-ICP-3-3142015. The project aims are to analyse the existing study programmes in the Czech Republic (Faculty of Education, Olomouc) and in Norway (QMUC, Trondheim), to compare and create joint study modules for the students of preschool education, special education and pre-primary teacher training. The project responds to the trends of the current educational policy and to the requirement to improve the quality of university training of pre-primary teachers and to improve their employability.
