The book focuses on the issue of the project Promotion of cooperation and sharing of experience in early childhood education – NF-CZ07-ICP-3-3142015. The project´s aims are to analyse the existing study programmes in the Czech Republic (Faculty of Education, Palacký University, Olomouc) and in Norway (QMUC, Trondheim), to compare and create joint study modules for the students of pre-primary education, special education and pre-primary teacher training. The project responds to the trends of the current educational policy and to the requirement of improvement of university training of pre-primary teachers and their employability. The publication is divided into three main parts. The main project aims are presented in the first part of the project. Our aim is to uncover the project strategy as an inspiration for all those interested in the issue. The second chapter focuses on the pre-primary educational systems in the Czech Republic and Norway. The current perception of a child in the given context and the preparation of teacher trainees are dealt with. The next part of the chapter is the curriculum and its specifics in the selected areas – e.g. the current inclusive education at preschools and pre-primary education in the context of art. A continuous overview of the currect attitudes to the issue is presented. The third chapter introduces the educational module which has been created on the basis of implementing the core project activity. The educational module will be offered at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University in Olomouc, to the Norwegian students who study the field pre-primary education. The chapter presents descriptions of individual disciplines in the context of undergraduate study which is described in the second chapter. Thus we attempted to support the complexity of the whole text.
