Lifelong learning as a way of mathematics teacher ICT skills development
Original language description
Lifelong learning is defined as learning that is pursued throughout life: learning that is flexible, diverse and available at different times and in different places. Lifelong learning can develop creativity and individual skills needed for adaptability in a rapidly developing modern society. Teachers are expected to develop as professionals and they need to acquire new knowledge, become familiar with new didactics trends, learn about new teaching and learning methods. The contribution deals with partial results of "Educational Needs of Mathematics" (ENMT) research and "Attitudes towards Computer Assistant Teaching" (ATCAT) research. We concentrate on the possibility of increasing the level of ICT skills and educational competences of teachers through lifelong learning.
