Original language description
Our aim was to determine the link between the personality traits with specific factors of life satisfaction (satisfaction with work, finances and private person). We collected data out of 472 pre-service teachers as well as of individuals already working in the teaching profession. To obtain the necessary data, we used the Czech version of NEO Big Five-Factor Questionnaire (Hřebíčkova & Urbanek, 2001) and selected scales of life satisfaction questionnaire (Fahrenberg et al. 2001). Our results indicate a relationship between the neuroticism and extraversion with the satisfaction of their own person, relationship between agreeableness and job satisfaction in male pre- service teachers as well as relationship between neuroticism and agreeableness and conscientiousness among female pre- service teachers.
