In the course of their study, elementary education students become familiar with various strategies supporting reading literacy development. They should apply these strategies in their reading books to demonstrate how the texts and their use can affect the reading literacy level of individual pupils. This paper provides an analysis of the most widely used authors and books, and it highlights the application of strategies that develop reading literacy.
