    Instrumental adaptations of Gershwin´s 3 Preludes (1926) for string quartet are registered as a derivative works by Petr Vrána at the OSA - Collective rights management society for musical works in Czech Republic. Full registered work title of the current score - Prelude 3 - corresponds to the informations given in the score and instrumental parts. With regard to the instrumental and resonant specifics of the string instruments the third prelude is transposed half-step higher. This material is intended for advanced or professional players and ensembles, which are expected to have technical and interpretive erudition and advanced practical experiences in the field of chamber music. Therefore any fingerings are completely missing here and only bowings, articulations, dynamics, expressive and technique markings, tempo marks and tempo alterations are included. This arrangement may also be useful in chamber music teaching or can serve as effective and motivating study material for students and lecturers at higher levels of music education. This material could also be a beneficial enrichment of chamber music concert programs. Any officially published professional recording of the work has not yet been created or released. Only a demo recording is available here.
