Accessibility of Intact Pupils towards Pupils with Disabilities through Interactive Teaching Materials
Original language description
By analyzing the number of pupils with disabilities in inclusive education, we conclude that the preparation of the class team for the arrival of a pupil with a disability is more than necessary. In 2020/2021, the share of pupils with disabilities in the Czech Republic in the total number in primary schools is the highest. The paper aims to present the author's material "We belong to each other", which supports creativity and the individual's approach to people with disabilities in a natural way. The aim is to develop primary and secondary school pupils' personal and social competencies and support their internal motivation for the teaching process. A secondary benefit of the presented methodological material is the elimination of stereotypes and the natural refutation of prejudices and myths in the lives of people with disabilities. We believe that influencing the selected target group of primary and secondary school pupils can, in a positive sense, affect not only the success of inclusive education but also make a significant contribution to teaching the cross-cutting theme of personal and social education. We consider worksheets to be an effective way of specific primary prevention in the group of pupils towards pupils with special educational needs. Newly created online materials can be useful not only in an emergency caused by the ongoing covid-19 pandemic. Teachers and other professionals had to adapt to this situation and provide training through teleeducation.
