Original language description
Preference of gymnastics in basic schoolgirls in the range of 17 sport and physical activities was found to be at the eleventh place in order. In order to assure gymnastics better position among physical education activities, we implemented a different approach to teaching gymnastics. Individualisation of gymnastics was applied for independent activities, when girls practised at different posts scheduled gymnastic events in their pace, quantity and with self-controlling. We observed two groups of girls,one in the Czech Republic and another in Poland during several physical education lessons. Monitoring of girls' physiological load was carried out using heart rate monitors, accelerometers and pedometers. We used a questionnaire to assess girls' attitude to the individualised lessons. We found big regional differences considering physiological characteristics and questionnaire's dimensions.
