Rozdílné zastoupení tuků v nízkoenergetické dietě a jejich vliv na změnu vybraných antropometrických ukazatelů u obézních žen
Original language description
We tried to find the optimal macronutrient composition for dietary treatment of obesity and improvement of cardiovascular risk factors. The focus of this research was to examine if a 10-weeks low-fat hypoenergetic diet has a more beneficial effect on body weight and body composition than a 10-weeks moderate-fat hypoenergetic diet. 82 Czech obese women aged 36.46 # 7.84) years were involved in the international European study Nugenob - randomised, multi-centre trial of two hypoenergetic diets with different fat content in obese subjects. Eighty-two obese females were randomized into two hypoenergetic diets: low-fat (LF, 20-25 % of energy from fat, n=43) and moderate-fat (MF, 40-45 % of energy from fat, n=39). Anthropometric indices were collected beforeand after intervention. Women following 10-weeks hypoenergetic diets lost their body weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, body fat, fat free mass, and fat mass (p < .001). Weight loss was greater with the low-fat diet (LF
