The field of standards and specifications of the eLearning are nowadays very discussed because of their importance and influence on the quality of the complex platform for support of the eLearning education. The basic questions of their implementation should be considered especially together with necessity of the cooperation between universities and educational institutions. But the whole problem of using standards should not be eliminated only to standards which are primarily focused on the eLearning education. There are a lot of trends which implicate also using of other ones. The expansion of the information and communication technologies and Internet moulds eLearning's face into the online form. That is why also standards of web publishing and presentations must be included within the development of eLearning platform.
