Original language description
The transition from the centrally planned to market economic system in the Central East European countries started in the early 1990's. Since this time agricultural and rural areas of CEECs have undergone profound structural changes with wide variationsin the degree of transformation and in the rate of success in the transition to market based agriculture and food industry. The chapter 6 deals with production and value chains in agri-food business in transition markets of CEECs as well as with changesrelated to transition from publik to private governance.

Czech description
Přechod z centrálně plánovaného na tržní ekonomický systém v zemích střední a východní Evropy byl zahájen na počátku devadesátých let minulého století. Od té doby prošly zemědělské a venkovské oblasti ZSVE hlubokými strukturálními změnami s širokou škálou variant ve stupni transformace i míře úspěšnosti přechodu zemědělství a potravinářského průmyslu na tržní principy. Kapitola 6 se zabývá charakteristikou komoditních vertikál agrobyznysu transformujících se trhů zemí střední a východní Evropy a změnamysouvisejícími transformací státního na soukromou formu vlastnictví.
