The paper deals with integrated quality management and its implementation in tourism services. It presents European approach towards managing the quality of a destination suggested by the European Commission and the tool serving for measuring the qualityof a destination Qualitest owing to which the quality of individual European destinations can be evaluated. Integrated quality management is an approach based on cooperation of all areas participating in tourism development in a destination. The qualityis evaluated in a complex way with respect to the impacts of tourism development onto local inhabitants and environment. Qualitest is formed by a complex of 16 quality themes focusing on the quality of a destination and the quality of a product. Each quality theme is evaluated by three indicators judging the quality of preconditions (QPCI), the quality of management (QMI) and the quality of the power of a destination (QPI).
