Starting parameters for the estimation of production functions
Original language description
An essential condition to ensure successful parameters estimation in nonlinear models consists in setting appropriate starting parameters. In this paper we deal with selected nonlinear production functions and assess some approaches for obtaining starting parameters of corresponding models. Introductory simulation study is provided and basic conclusions about starting parameters are given.
