The uptake of BAP (6-benzyaminopurine) and the content of endogenous cytokinins (BAPR - 6-benzyaminopurine riboside, iP - isopentenyladenine, iPA - isopentenyladenosine) were studied in the explanted leaves of Nicotiana tabacum L. in relation to induction of morphogenic process. Two tobacco cultivars, cv. WSC 38 (wild type) and cv. SR 1 transformed with cytokinin-glucoside specific Zmp 60.1 ?-glucosidase, performed different times of morphogenic response.
