Analysing the efficiency of the Genesis gametocide in triticale (X Triticosecale Wittmack)
Original language description
It was cinfirmed that electrophoresis of the polymorphism of prolamine proteins (gliadins, secalins) can distinguish the respetive genotypes mutually. The prolamine spectra of the genotypes Tornádo and KM 779 werw heterogenic, these genetotypes consisting of two sister prolamine lines (identity index (ii) 0,88 and 0,69, respectively). The prolamine spectra of the other evaluated genotypes were homogenous. In the majority of cases of the F1 generation we detected the occurrence of prolamine proteins ot the used matrnal and parental genotype, what proves that the Genesis gametocide is 100% effient. Only in the F1 generation of the Chrono x Modus crossing did the electrophoretic spectrum of only the maternal genotype occur and the effciency of CHA was a mere 83,3%. Selected vegetation characteristic and qualitative grain parameters were monitored in the F1 feneration. Crossing the Tornádo x Modus appears to be very prospective.
