An influence of genotype in RYR1 gene on meatness was studied on a file of 603 carcass pig hybrids (CLW x CL) x Pn. An average slaughter weight was 106,47 kg in studied file. Whole file was divided to three groups according to genotype (NN, Nn, nn). Thehighest percentage of lean meat was reached in a group after boars with nn genotype - 56,86 % in weight 82,67 kg of carcass modified body. The lowest percentage of lean meat was reached in a group of pigs after boars with heterozygous genotype in RYR1 gene - 55,7 % in weight 85,62 kg og carcass modified body.
