    Determination of silver ions in drinking waters by using flow injection analysis (FIA)

  • Original language description

    Determination of heavy metals in drinking waters and biological samples belongs among the actual questions in food hygiene, food quality and food chemistry. Silver is toxic for all organisms, especially for those who live in water. Due to its presence inwastewaters is necessary to study their fate in the environment. The electrochemical methods are alternative analytic techniques that make the silver ions determination possible in nM concentrations, mainly using carbon electrodes. In the presented workthe releasing of silver ions into Milli-Q water, distilled water, tap water from city Brno, common mineral waters, tasted mineral waters and lemonades was studied in 13 week experiment. The silver ions released from silver plate placed into the sample were detected after four weeks, the average determined concentration of silver ions at the beginning of the experiment was 7.34+-2.79 nM, at the end of the experiment the determined concentration

    Stanovení těžkých kovů v pitné vodě a biologických vzorcích patří k aktuálním otázkácm v hygieně potravin, kvalitě potravin a potravinářské chemii. V této práci jesme stanovili uvolněné iont stříbra do mili-Q vody, destilované vody, vody z vodovodního řádu města Brna a minerálních vod a limonád v experimentu trvajícím 13 týdnů.
