Observed Trends in Phenology of the Native Plant and Animal Species in Flood-Plain Forests of Central Europe during 1961 - 2008

  • Original language description

Phenology is study of periodic events in the life cycles of plants and animals and is influence by the environment. Phenology is important indicator of climate progression and variability of meteorological values, especially temperature. Phenophases might be defined as the milestones in the seasonal development of the given species (such as bud bursting, flowering, leaf unfolding or eggs laying) that could be relatively easily identified and observed. The aim of our work is to process and assess, whichmeteorological parameters could be consider as driving variables determining the length and developmental rate of individual phenophases. Using this information we can not only understand better the relationship between ecosystems and seasonal climate variability but also understand better to consequences of the climate change. As the phenophases in the agrosystems are by definition influenced by human activity we used uncontrolled ecosystem as a modeling ground in order to develop robus

  • Czech description

Byly sledovány fenofáze na třech výzkumných plochách jižní Moravy -- Vranovice, Lednice, Lanžhot od roku 1961 doposud. sledovány byly druhy Anemone ranunculoides, Allium ursinum, Paris quadrifolia, Corydalis cava; Prunus spinosa, Cornus mas, Crataegus;stromy Carpinus betulus, Quercus robur a populace ptáků Parus major, Ficedula albicollis. Nejdůležitějším prvkem řídícím fenofáze jsou max. teplota, solární radiace a srážky.
