Food base of accompaying fish species in Hamry water supply reservoir
Original language description
This study deals with the food base of accompanying fish species in Hamry water supply reservoir. The survey of the food base was carried out between the years of 2000 and 2011. In this survey, stomach contents of perches and intestine contents of breamsand roaches were examined. The food items from fishes were removed and these samples were analyzed using combination of standard methods (Hyslop 1980). Samples of zooplankton and macrozoobenthos were obtained by survey of fish stock. Food of fishes wascompared with relative share and biomass of water invertebrates. As direct fishing was started four years ago, the decrease in the zooplankton and macrozoobenthos was significant. The results are comparable with other authors.
