Effective pre-concentration and analysis of heavy metals using ligand step gradient focusing in combination with ITP (LSGF-ITP).
Original language description
The capillary electrophoretic method for the pre-concentration metals based on selective focusing of metal chelates whit subsequent on-line ITP analysis was developed. The selected ions of nine metals (Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+,Mn2+,Cd2+,Zn2+,Ni2+,Pb2+,Cu2+) were subjected to pre-concentration from the mixture and analyzed. Focusing of metals was carried out in ligand step gradient, whitch was created by an addition of a convenient ligand agent to the regular stationary and - or steady state pH step gradient. Usingcitrate as a complexing agents yields in selective removing of alkalai metals (e.g.Na) from the sample mixture.
