The Operation of the Automobile Engines on Biofuel E85
Original language description
This article deals with the monitoring of automobile engines outputs parameters at operation on biofuel E85. Two vehicles and one engine were chosen for the analysis. The measurements of these vehicles were carried out with the help of the chassis dynamometer. Last engine was tested by the eddy current dynamometer in laboratory of the engine testing. As the reference fuel was used petrol Natural 95 (BA95). The vehicles were equipped by the additional conversion kits. The adjustment of the engine was byprogrammable control unit. The all measurements were carried out by static methods. Fuel consumption, engine output and engine efficiency belong to the evaluate parameters. The measurement results show positive impact of ethanol on combustion process atall evaluates engines. As the results show as well, the adjustment of the engine, more precisely injected amount has the main influence to change output parameters.
