The effect of addition of selenium to content immunoglobulin G in serum of cows
Original language description
This work was processed on a farm in the Pardubice region. Our experiment involved 28 Czech Fleckvieh cattle. The aim was to evaluate the experimental observation changes from the content of immunoglobulin G in blood after supplementation of selenium inthe cow's diet. Blood was taken about 23 days before the expected date of birth and postpartum. Blood was a quantitative determination of IgG form Bovine biological samples using sandwich, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The control group reached values 14.81 - 8.745 Ig G g/l-1 for sampling before feeding the feed supplement and take postpartum values 11.31 - 2.538 g/l-1. The experimental group reached values 15.81 - 7.496 Ig G g/l-1 for sampling before feeding the feed supplement and take postpartum values 13.03 - 2.271 g/l-1. The obtained values were analyzed in Microsoft Excel and Statistica.
