The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of the heating and ventilation on incidence of footpad dermatitis. Ross 308 and Cobb 500 hybrids were used in this experiment. This monitoring was performed on two farms with the same conditions. Broilers on the both farms were it the same age and were fattened in the same time. The only difference was in heating and ventilation of farms. The heating system in the first hall is activated according to the temperature in the hall and the concentration of CO2. Heating in the second hall is activated according to the temperature. The incidence of footpad dermatitis was evaluated in 5 batches. Scoring of the paws was done in slaughterhouse according to six-point scale (0-5) Ask (2010). To facilitate the evaluation of the paws damage the numbers in scoring groups were summarized as follows: negligible damage (0+1), intermediate damage (2+3) and severe damage (4+5).
