Original language description

This article deals with economy of tractor engine in cultivating soil operations. Firstly, the basic principle of lowering of fuel consumption due to setting area of engine operations is described. Also theoretical calculation is performed. After that, field measurements are realized. Theory is verified by experiment. Achieved results point at the possibility of fuel consumption reduction due to engine loading with usage of electronic shift control management.
