Biokoncentrační faktor larev Hermetia illucens živených na rostlinných pletivech

  • Original language description

Bioaccumulation is the ability of organisms to collect the chemicals in your body. To quantitative bioaccumulation is used bioconcentration factors (BCF), which indicate how many times the content of the substance in the body is greater than in the surrounding environment. BCF can be generally expressed as the ratio of the concentration of substances in the body to the concentration of a substance in the environment. In the case of waste plant tissues, which served as a feed medium for the larvae Hermetia illucens (HI, their English name is Black soldier fly), there is a significant accumulation of cadmium and antimony in larvae HI. Both of these heavy metals exhibit toxic properties, which lead to health problems people. Although the environment is considered a waste material of plant tissues, this waste material is appropriate foods that are normally presented to the consumer. Which is the main reason for the study of the BCF larvae HI.
