The effect of pre-incubation on hatchability of long-term stored eggs of broilers chickens
Original language description
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of pre-incubation on hatchability of long-term stored eggs of broilers chickens. The age of parent stock was 30 weeks. Two repeated pre-incubations were applied during storage - 4 or 8h at 5 and 10 day of storage. No significant differences in hatchability of fresh and 15d stored eggs treated by pre-incubation was observed. Hatchability of eggs 15d stored without pre-incubation application was significantly lower in comparison with all other groups. Results from this experiment showed positive influence of pre-incubation on hatchability in broiler chickens at age 30 weeks of parental stock, when eggs were stored for 15d.
